The Saturday Bass Anglers was founded to provide anglers in the Lake Area with the opportunity to affordably fish local club tournaments.  Over half of the SBA's 2008 tournaments are hosted on local waters, Sabine River, Calcasieu River, Lacassine Area.  This gives anglers who fish from smaller boats the opportunity to fish against anglers in larger boats without any great disadvantage.  SBA is a member of the LA Top 6 Association and sends a team to the Top 6 Tournament on Toledo Bend.  Membership dues are currently only $45 per angler and tournament entry fees are only $20 per angler.  Members can choose to fish with other members of the club or with guests.  Camaraderie and fellowship are the main focus of the club and its members.
