The Reel Sportsman's Bass Club is located in Lake Charles, LA and currently has approximately 50 members. The club was founded with friendly competition in mind and is a member of the Association of Louisiana Bass Clubs (ALBC). The Reel Sportsman's sends a team to the ALBC Best 6 Tournament on Toledo Bend. In 2007 The Reel Sportsman's finished 7th in the Best Six. All the members of this unique bass club are good friends and sharing of information is one of the cornerstones of this club, which makes it a great club for people just starting in competitive bass fishing. The club has a great payback structure that includes side pots for a closest to 2 pound bass and a progressive over 7 pound pot that grows until it is won. The Reel Sportsman's Bass Club also has a Young Anglers Division. This division is designed to get kids involved in the sport of bass fishing at a young age. If you are looking to join a bass club promotes friendship as well as competition, then the Reel Sportsman's is the bass club for you.
